ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) announced on April 22, 2026, that it has completed the acquisition of Armis, a leader in cyber exposure management and security. The transaction represents a significant expansion of ServiceNow’s security portfolio, integrating Armis’s specialized asset visibility and risk assessment technology into the ServiceNow Now Platform. The move is designed to provide enterprises with a unified, AI-powered solution for managing cyber risk across the entire spectrum of connected assets, including Information Technology (IT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Operational Technology (OT).

The acquisition allows ServiceNow to address the increasing complexity of modern enterprise environments, where traditional security tools often fail to provide visibility into unmanaged devices or legacy industrial systems. By incorporating the Armis Centrix platform, ServiceNow will offer real-time monitoring and threat detection for physical and operational layers. This integration enables organizations to automate the identification of vulnerabilities and streamline the remediation process through ServiceNow’s existing workflow automation capabilities.

Bill McDermott, Chairman and CEO of ServiceNow, stated that the completion of this deal marks a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution. McDermott noted that as digital and physical worlds converge, the ability to secure every connection point is essential for business resilience. He emphasized that the combination of ServiceNow’s workflow engine and Armis’s asset intelligence creates a new standard for cyber risk management. According to McDermott, the acquisition will help customers move from reactive security postures to proactive, AI-driven risk mitigation.

Armis Co-founder and CEO Yevgeny Dibrov will continue to lead the Armis team as a specialized unit within ServiceNow’s security business division. Dibrov commented that the merger accelerates the mission to protect the world’s most critical infrastructure. He highlighted that the synergy between the two companies will provide a single pane of glass for security teams, reducing the time required to detect and respond to threats. Dibrov also noted that the integration will leverage ServiceNow’s generative AI capabilities to provide predictive insights into potential attack vectors.

While specific financial terms were not disclosed in the final closing statement, the acquisition follows a period of rapid growth for Armis, which had previously reached a multi-billion dollar valuation in private funding rounds. The company’s technology is currently deployed across various sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing, and energy. ServiceNow confirmed that existing Armis customers will continue to receive support, while new integrated features will be rolled out to ServiceNow SecOps and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) customers starting in the next fiscal quarter.

This acquisition builds upon a long-standing partnership between the two firms. Prior to the deal, ServiceNow and Armis had collaborated on several joint integrations that allowed shared customers to ingest Armis device data into the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB). With the acquisition now finalized, ServiceNow intends to deepen these integrations, using Armis’s extensive device knowledgebase to enhance its AI-driven security operations and provide more granular risk scoring for global enterprises.
