CrowdStrike announced on April 22, 2026, that it has been recognized as the Google Cloud Global Partner of the Year for Infrastructure Protection for the second consecutive year. The award, presented during the annual Google Cloud Next conference, honors the company’s achievements in providing cybersecurity solutions that secure customer workloads across Google Cloud’s global infrastructure. Alongside this recognition, CrowdStrike was designated as a launch partner for the Google Agent Cloud Ecosystem (ACE), a new initiative aimed at securing autonomous AI agents and large language model (LLM) applications.

George Kurtz, CEO and co-founder of CrowdStrike, stated that the repeated recognition underscores the effectiveness of the Falcon platform in protecting the modern cloud estate. Kurtz emphasized that as organizations increasingly adopt generative AI, the need for integrated, AI-native security becomes critical. The partnership allows for the consolidation of security tools, providing a unified view of threats across cloud and on-premises environments. Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President of Global Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud, noted that CrowdStrike’s technical integration has been instrumental in helping enterprises manage complex security requirements during their digital transformation journeys.

The inclusion of CrowdStrike in the Google Agent Cloud Ecosystem marks a technical expansion of the existing alliance. Under this ecosystem, CrowdStrike will provide specialized security telemetry and threat intelligence to monitor and protect AI-driven workflows. This includes defending against specific AI-related threats such as prompt injection and unauthorized data access within automated systems. The integration links the CrowdStrike Falcon platform with Google Cloud’s Security Command Center, facilitating automated response actions and vulnerability management for virtual machines, containers, and serverless architectures.

CrowdStrike’s cloud security business has reported sustained growth as more enterprises transition mission-critical operations to cloud-native environments. The company’s Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) is designed to provide visibility and protection throughout the software development lifecycle. By deepening its collaboration with Google Cloud, CrowdStrike aims to streamline security operations for shared customers, reducing the time required to detect and remediate sophisticated cyberattacks.

The two organizations also detailed plans for future co-engineering projects. These initiatives will focus on enhancing security for Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform and providing advanced monitoring for managed Kubernetes services. This ongoing collaboration is centered on the convergence of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, aiming to deliver automated, scalable protection for the next generation of cloud computing. The 2026 award serves as a formal acknowledgment of the strategic alignment between CrowdStrike’s security platform and Google Cloud’s infrastructure services.
