On April 22, 2026, Broadcom Inc. announced a significant expansion of its long-standing collaboration with Google Cloud. The centerpiece of this expansion is the launch of Cloud Network Insights, a new service designed to address the growing complexity of enterprise network management. This service leverages Broadcom’s AppNeta technology to provide comprehensive observability across diverse network paths, including public cloud, private data centers, and software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN).

The Cloud Network Insights service is built upon the AppNeta platform, which Broadcom integrated into its enterprise software portfolio to enhance digital experience monitoring. The integration allows Google Cloud customers to gain end-to-end visibility into the performance of their applications from the perspective of the end-user. By deploying AppNeta’s monitoring points within Google Cloud’s global infrastructure, the service provides real-time data on latency, packet loss, and jitter. This capability is specifically tailored for organizations operating in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, where traditional monitoring tools often fail to provide a unified view of traffic moving between different providers.

Serge Lucio, General Manager of the Agile Operations Division at Broadcom, stated that the partnership aims to bridge the visibility gap that often exists when enterprises migrate critical workloads to the cloud. According to Lucio, the integration with Google Cloud enables IT teams to identify and resolve network bottlenecks before they impact business operations. Google Cloud executives noted that the addition of Cloud Network Insights to their marketplace simplifies the procurement and deployment process for enterprise customers, allowing them to manage network health through a single interface.

This announcement follows a series of collaborative efforts between the two companies. Broadcom has previously integrated its Symantec security solutions and VMware Tanzu platform with Google Cloud services. The expansion into network observability reflects a broader trend of hardware and software providers deepening their ties with hyperscale cloud providers to offer integrated management suites. The new service is available immediately through the Google Cloud Marketplace, utilizing a consumption-based pricing model that aligns with standard cloud billing practices.

For enterprise IT departments, the service provides automated path analysis and historical performance reporting. This data is critical for maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and optimizing the delivery of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. By providing a common data set for both network and cloud operations teams, the service is intended to reduce the mean time to repair (MTTR) for connectivity issues. The partnership also includes joint engineering support to ensure that the Cloud Network Insights service evolves alongside Google Cloud’s expanding global network footprint.
